Test Your Luck at The Black Heart Gambling Hall!

Greetings delvers!

It’s a very exciting time for us at MetaArcade, as the Adventure Creator Pilot Program is in full swing! Today we have the pleasure of introducing you to our second community contributor from the Adventure Creator Pilot Program! Many of you have enjoyed the excellent efforts from our first contributor, veteran RPG author Stefan Jones, who created the two chapters of The Necropolis of Vaarh.

Today we welcome William W. Connors on board with his unique adventure, The Black Heart! Idling away your time in the imperial capital of Khazan, you decide to spice up an otherwise quiet evening by revisiting one of your old haunts—the notorious gambling hall called The Black Heart. But the establishment has had a change in management since you last came calling, and while the games are the same as you remember, the ante has changed quite a bit…

The Black Heart is suitable for characters of level 5 and above, and is now available for all players of Tunnels & Trolls Adventures to enjoy for free—no Hearts or Gems required!

While The Black Heart is William’s first published Tunnels & Trolls adventure, he’s definitely not a rookie when it comes to designing and writing RPGs. Best known as one of the original creators of the Ravenloft fantasy-horror campaign setting for Dungeons & Dragons, William has had a storied career as a game designer, author and artist, with many of his works published at TSR, Wizards of the Coast, id Software, and Hasbro. William has been a Tunnels & Trolls fan for decades, and has often said that he designed Dungeons & Dragons products for a living, and played Tunnels & Trolls for fun.

We’ll work with William to provide you with a full Community Spotlight on his background in the weeks to come, and in the meantime, perhaps you should take a shot at creating your own adventure in our Pilot Program? We’re always accepting new applicants, and would love to see what you can do with the Adventure Creator.

And… while you’re at it, keep your eyes open for some big MetaArcade news next week!

Until then, happy delving!
